USCIS just released its figures on CAP H-1B filing numbers for the H-1B filing season. As of June 11, 2010, approximately 22,200 H-1B cap-subject petitions were receipted. Additionally, USCIS has receipted 9,400 H-1B petitions for aliens with advanced degrees.
The H-1B CAP number are used at a slow pace. For these who have found a job in the
