Who are the "Priority Workers"?

Under U. S. Immigration and Naturalization Act , Priority Workers are:

1. Workers of extraordinary ability.  Workers of extraordinary ability  are defined as those who can show that  they have extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics, which has been demonstrated by sustained national or international acclaim and whose achievements have been recognized in the field through extensive documentation.

2. Outstanding professors and researchers.  They are internationally recognized for their outstanding achievements.

3. Multinational executives and managers.  They have been employed outside the United States in a managerial or executive capacity for at least one of the three years immediately preceding the filing of the petition, or one of the three years preceding entry to the United States as a nonimmigrant if the foreign worker is presently in the United States.
